Making a difference in the communities we serve is a big part of what we do. Not only is it the right thing to do, but we also share those communities with you!

They say the third time’s the charm, but for our fourth year in a row winning a major distinction from J.D. Power – thanks to residential customers among the 370,000 we serve – we’re ecstatic. And we send our thanks right back to you.

In its annual survey, J.D. Power found TECO Peoples Gas to be the No. 1 utility in customer satisfaction among midsized natural gas companies in the south region. This follows another recent reaffirmation of the trust our customers place in us

Thanks for being great to work with overall, and thanks for embracing the ease and convenience of natural gas as well as our online offerings, which give you the power to manage your account needs in ways that work best for you.

Thanks for embracing gas appliances, like tankless water heaters, which heat up faster, are more durable than traditional water heaters and are up to 40 percent more energy efficient. Along those lines, thanks for serving up dishes that sizzle with perfection with the help of something that’s ideal for football season: a natural gas grill. It’s just one of many natural gas appliances available to improve our customers’ quality of life.

Thanks for calling 8-1-1 at least two full business days before digging – it’s the law! For free, utility technicians will locate and mark buried infrastructure, like natural gas lines, so that digging as part of any project doesn’t create a catastrophe.

    We just had a gas leak experience, I smelled gas in our garage and on the side of our home. After I called to report it there was a gas technician there within thirty minutes, a very fast response. He promptly investigated and found the source of the leak at the gas meter where it came in from the ground pipe. Within another thirty minutes, another team arrived and they all worked together to dig out and replace the pipe. I was very impressed with the professional appearance and attitude of the crew involved and their hard work and attention to detail in solving our home’s problem. Special Kudos to Wayne who investigated and called immediately and to Mike Patrelli (spelling?) who supervised the repair. I am very grateful to all of them for a quick and immediate response. What a great group of professionals!
